Happy Birthday, Emma!

It's my girl's birthday today.  She turns the big 5!  I miss her so much and wish I could be there in Hungary for the birthday celebrations.  Here's one of my favourite pictures we took one morning in my apartment in New York, 2007.

California Sandwiches

Located in Toronto's Little Italy, California Sandwiches make Subway and the rest of chains look like a joke.

This restaurant is family owned and operated since 1967.
It's best not to go there during peak hours on a weekend.  You'll have a very long wait.  I've been eating their veal sandwiches for years and tonight the boys try their steak sandwiches for the first time.  The sandwiches are very reasonably priced at under 8 bucks a pop, and you WILL be full and happy afterwards.

Grand Central Terminal in New York

This is a very interesting place: the designs, architecture, the market, the shopping, the fine dining and casual dining; the three quarters of a million people who pass through daily either going to the subway or Metro North.  Navigate their website for more information and a historical background.  http://grandcentralterminal.com/

This is a video of the main area and a tour of the Grand Central Market.

Sunday Brunch @ the Turkish Kitchen

Yasemin, the social butterfly, organizes a group brunch in Gramercy at a place called "Turkish Kitchen".  I met new people, ate fine food, and had lots of laughs!

3rd Avenue Street Fair in Gramercy

On my way to Sunday Brunch and I stumbled upon the 3rd Avenue Street Fair in Gramercy.  It was my lucky day; I love Street Fairs and used to go to them all the time when I lived in New York.

Traffic in the West Village

Ania and I take a walk to the West Village after eating at Veselka.  It's 1:54am and everything is alive and happening!

Dinner @ Veselka Restaurant w/Ania

Ania and I head down to the East Village for dinner @ 1:05am.  This 24 hour Ukrainian Diner was full and there were more people coming in.  I love New York.

Upper East Side Wigs

This video is dedicated to my Wig Crew:  Ankur, Marcos, and Marsha!

I was walking around in the Upper East Side and saw this place.  This video is for you.
