@ Grouse Mountain in September 2010
I was in Vancouver for some work related biz. We had a company paid trip and visit to explore Grouse Mountain.
It was a stunning site! The air was crisper and cooler near the mountain (even at the bottom of the mountain). The trees were thick, dense, and a very rich green. Nature seemed to envelop us and we all seemed so insignificant in the gondola to go to the top of the mountain and as we rode the Sky Chair to the peak of the mountain. On the Sky Chair you can really feel the depth and vastness of our surroundings. It's so quiet and peaceful and the air is so fresh. The gondola and sky chair sway with the wind as they take you up. You really feel that nature is a big beast and we're just a tiny part of it. From the top of the mountain, looking down at the city of Vancouver, it's just stunning. So big and open. Water is surrounding it. The sun is dazzling and the buildings all sparkle like gems in the sun. The height of the mountain is intimidating. The Sky Chairs can feel a bit terrifying as its only a single bar keeping you secure. Your feet are dangling and vertigo kicks in. Have faith, hold on. It's just all too beautiful to ruin with such morbid thoughts. The view at the top? Incredibly stunning and breathtaking. It's all worth the scary ride to the top.

Drag Brunch in Rochester, NY
Garth, Ankur, Marsha, Indira, and I check out "Drag Brunch"- we saw Poison Waters, Kasha Davis, and Pandora Box perform drag at a restaurant called "Edibles" in Rochester, NY. The food was just ok, but we were there for the entertaining ladies ;-)

London: Taking a Ride on the London Eye
South Bank on the River Thames was one of my favourite areas in London because I love to be near the water!
I took a ride on the London Eye (aka Millennium Wheel...it was built to celebrate the new Millennium. It was opened by British Prime Minister Tony Blair on December 31, 1999)...
It is the tallest ferris wheel in Europe and is visited by over 3.5 million people annually. (This information was taken from Wikipedia...and to read more about the London Eye, please click here.)
I also dedicate this video to Sabia who was my enthusiastic and knowledgable tour guide who spent many days with me showing me her city and taking me around everywhere to all the places I wanted to go, and all the awesome places she suggested. Thanks, mate!

Aarti took me to the (awesome!!!) Camden Market where we had fancy cocktails at the Gilgamesh Restaurant Bar Lounge. Their website is a bit nerdy, but the inside is hella cool - trust me. After we walked around the Market where we went shopping. The Market has a vibrant and exciting feel! A mix of tourists, Londoners, funky, hip, cool, trendy! Loud music playing; International stalls of food with delicious smells wafting through the air; dozens and dozens of other stalls with merchants selling (everything)...and the best --- great people, energy, music, food, and drinks! Tania and I have dinner at The Rhino on Queen Street West. The Leffe Blonde reminds me of Jerome.
I highly recommend this place: warm and friendly waitresses; 3 rooms to choose room - all with a different ambiences - the room Tania and I sat in had a skylight - but it was getting dark; cool lights inside; pinball machines, pool table, and most of all CHEAP and good quality food - with 343 types of beer to choose from. I was in heaven and can't wait to go back!
